While US Bitcoin ETFs bled this week, Thailand just opened the door 🇹🇭
Thailand issued 11 new regulatory requirements for crypto ETFs. In the first phase, ETFs may invest only in Bitcoin and Ethereum, with the rules taking effect October 16.
Contrast with the US: spot Bitcoin ETFs lost $484.9M on Oct 7 (the largest single-day exit since June) and about $244M more on Oct 8.
Short-term flows are choppy, but regulated access keeps expanding globally. Rules taking effect isn't the same as inflows arriving, though.
Demand will depend on which products actually launch.
