Most traders don't lose because they can't find a coin. They lose because they enter too late.

Before chasing the next crypto breakout, I check five things:

1. Structure: Is price consolidating below a clear resistance?
2. Volume: Is participation increasing as price approaches the level?
3. Momentum: Are pullbacks forming higher lows?
4. Confirmation: Has a candle closed above resistance, or is it just a wick?
5. Risk: Where is the setup invalidated if the breakout fails?

My rule: No confirmation, no forced entry.

A coin can look bullish and still fail. Protecting capital matters more than catching every pump.

Question for active traders: What do you trust most before a breakout — volume, price structure, or liquidity?
