As first flagged by @MSBIntel, @RobinhoodCrypto Chain is now fully live on @NEARProtocol's @near_intents, opening up bridgeless cross-chain swapping for Robinhood users across a wide range of assets and networks.

What the Integration Does

The platform supports swaps, deposits, withdrawals, and payments to and from Robinhood Chain without requiring users to navigate bridges or use a new app. Specifically, users can swap $ETH and $USDG against more than 180 assets across more than 30 chains.

The integration runs through NEAR Intents' 1Click Swap API. NEAR Intents' documentation lists six supported assets on Robinhood Chain: HOOD, USDG, WETH, USDe, PONS, and CASHCAT, each available through public and confidential routes. The 1Click Swap API handles quote requests, cross-chain swaps, and transaction-status tracking, with developer support available through SDKs for TypeScript, Go, and Rust.

Robinhood Chain is a permissionless Ethereum layer-2 built on the Arbitrum Orbit stack. Its testnet debuted in February 2026, with its mainnet following in July 2026. According to NEAR Intents technical documentation, the Robinhood network operates under the chain identifier "hood" and uses ETH for gas fee payments.

How NEAR Intents Works

For those unfamiliar, NEAR Intents takes a different approach to cross-chain trading than traditional bridges. NEAR Intents is a cross-chain swap protocol where users express a swap as an intent, meaning a desired outcome, rather than executing a specific route. Professional solvers compete to fill the intent at the best rate, drawing on both DeFi and CeFi liquidity sources that standard automated market makers cannot access. An intent swap avoids creating wrapped stand-in tokens, because on the destination chain a user receives the genuine asset the solver already holds there. No backing relationship arises that could later fall apart, removing an entire class of failure.

$NEAR rose 5.83% on the day of the Robinhood Chain integration announcement, even as the broader crypto market cap fell 2.9%. The Robinhood Chain addition is the latest in a string of NEAR Intents integrations in 2026, which have visibly strengthened NEAR's positioning as a cross-chain and CeFi-connected trading hub.
