CRYPTO LEGAL NEWS | $141M DISPUTE
DWF Maas and Falcon Digital have filed a lawsuit against BitGo over alleged breaches of token contracts with DWF seeking $141 million in damages.
The complaint alleges that BitGo sold Falcon Finance and ESPORTS tokens before their agreed lock-up periods expired. DWF claims the early sales put downward pressure on prices and reduced the value of tokens it continued to hold.
The lawsuit also alleges that discounted tokens were transferred to exchanges around two months before the first scheduled unlock. BitGo declined to comment.
The case is drawing extra attention because both DWF and BitGo have business ties to World Liberty Financial.
The allegations have yet to be established in court.
