$BTC A growing slice of Bitcoin is sitting in the open, according to on-chain analysis from Glassnode, with the balance in reused Bitcoin addresses climbing to 4.33 million BTC — roughly 21.5% of circulating supply — a figure up 14% recently, Crypto Briefing reported. Bitcoin was designed to let users spin up a fresh address for every transaction, yet many holders keep reusing the same one. Analysis shared by Glassnode analyst Rafael puts address reuse at the center of a broader exposure problem: combining reuse with older and structural address types, the total BTC behind visible public keys reaches 6.26 million BTC, or 31.2% of total supply. When coins are spent from an address, the transaction reveals its public key; reuse the address afterward and the coins there have their public key permanently visible on the blockchain.#SolanaPlansToCutBlockTimesTo200ms #ReusedBitcoinAddressesHold4.33MBTC #SenBlumenthalProbesCantorFitzgeraldTetherTies
