$PEPE: 23.9M USDT traded—but where is the strength?

Midday meme watch | 8 Oct, 12:19 Dubai

Binance's rolling 24h spot snapshot puts PEPE/USDT at $0.00000406, down 1.93%, with 23.91M USDT in quote turnover. That is more turnover than SHIB, BONK and WIF's USDT pairs combined in this snapshot—not proof of fresh buying or a volume surge.

Why watch: active trading, but no clear relative-strength signal. BTC/USDT is down 1.12%; PEPE is lagging it, even while holding up better than DOGE (-3.07%) and WIF (-3.22%). Binance confirms PEPE/USDT is open for spot trading.

My watch points: the observed 24h low at $0.00000396 and high at $0.00000415. A sustained move above that high with stronger spot participation would be more interesting than a brief wick. Losing the low would weaken the rebound case. These are reference levels, not predictions.

Risk: meme sentiment can reverse abruptly; turnover is not liquidity or net inflow, and a BTC selloff can overwhelm the setup. No confirmed new catalyst is assumed here.

Would you wait for the range high to break, or keep PEPE off your watchlist until it outperforms BTC?
