Crypto Market Update — October 8, 2026
The overall market is under pressure today, with $BTC and especially $ETH weakening. A stronger U.S. dollar, higher Treasury yields and hawkish Fed minutes are weighing on risk assets.
🟠 $BTC: Bearish/weak — around $82.6K–$83.1K. Watch $83K support; recovery above $86.5K–$87K would improve the structure.
🔵 $ETH: More pressure than $BTC — around $2.57K, with today's market showing roughly a 4% decline.
🟡 $BNB: Relatively stronger than $BTC/ETH, around $773.5; still cautious while the broader market remains weak.
🟢 $BCH: Also under pressure, around ₹29,016 equivalent, down about 3.4% in the latest reported session.
The Economic Times
Overall bias: 🔴 Cautious / bearish short-term.
For a bullish reversal, I’d want to see $BTC reclaim $86.5K–$87K and $ETH regain momentum. A $BTC break below $83K could increase downside risk toward $80K.
