A price is just the last agreement between one buyer and one seller, and that's all it tells you. $BTC
can print the same number as it did last week while behaving completely differently under a large order. $ETH , $SOL L and BNB are the same: volume looks like proof, but it only counts activity, not how easily you can exit. Slippage rarely gets checked until after the trade is done, and a market cap assumes everyone can sell at the last price at once, which no market allows. I still look at charts, but I read them as a clue, not a verdict. The part that decides whether the clue means anything is depth, and almost nobody posts it next to their gains. So before you trust the next number on your feed, which one do you check first: volume, depth, or slippage?
