The stock traded as high as $205.77 during the session and finished 2.72% below its $208.90 52-week high. Moderna’s gain also far outpaced the S&P 500’s 0.66% advance Monday.

Nasdaq-100 Switch Follows Warner Bros. Deal:

Warner Bros. Discovery is leaving the benchmark as its acquisition by Paramount Skydance moves toward completion. The companies said the transaction was expected to close Oct. 6, subject to customary closing conditions.
Moderna was already one of the market’s biggest gainers before the Nasdaq-100 announcement. Its shares had increased more than sixfold during 2026, lifting its market value to roughly $75 billion when the index change was announced, Reuters reported.
The related tokenized instrument also traded higher. Moderna Tokenized bStocks (MRNAB) was trading at $203.54, up 7.74% over the previous 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap. MRNAB is a separate tokenized instrument that trades over a 24-hour window, making its performance not directly comparable to Moderna’s regular Nasdaq session.
