🚨 BNB reclaimed 792. One candle later, it lost it.

This morning, I wanted a 15-minute close above 792 AND a retest that held. Here’s what actually happened.

At 14:00 UTC, BNB reached 793.62 and that candle closed at 792.89.
The next candle closed at 790.22.

The close happened. The hold didn’t.

🧩 THE MACRO UPDATE

September’s U.S. ISM Services report:
• PMI: 54.9 vs 55.4 in August — still expanding, but slower.
• Prices Index: 74.0 vs 72.6 — highest since July 2022.

That is an index reading, not 74% inflation.

My read: softer activity alongside stronger cost pressures complicates the case for Fed easing. A softer headline alone isn’t a green light for crypto.

📉 WHAT CHANGED ON THE CHART

After the release, BTC reached 86,725.12, then fell to 84,972.01. BNB later tested 784.70.

Those moves followed the report; timing alone doesn’t prove it caused the entire reversal.

Snapshot at 17:37 UTC / 14:37 Buenos Aires:
BNB ≈ 786 | BTC ≈ 85,314 USDT.

🔎 MY AFTERNOON WATCHLIST

🟢 Recovery: BNB reclaiming 786.70–787 and holding a retest would be a first improvement. Then I’m watching 790.20–792.

🔴 Weakness: a break below 784.70 followed by a failed reclaim would leave the recovery case weaker.

BTC is still below this morning’s 85,750–85,800 reference. I’m watching whether it can recover that zone while BNB rebuilds.

Open $BNB on the 15-minute chart and compare it with $BTC .

What would convince you: another close above resistance, or a retest that finally holds?
