$SPORTFUN drops 2.5% on 2.6x volume, but the bullish structure is still alive — shakeout or real reversal?
My bias remains cautiously bullish as the 1H structure is still intact and price remains well above the key higher low at 0.01724. With BTC also trending higher, this sharp sell-off looks more like a liquidity shakeout or late-long flush than a confirmed trend reversal for now.
The 2.6x volume spike alongside the sudden drop shows aggressive activity, but volume alone does not confirm a bearish reversal. OI is cooling from its local high, funding remains positive, and taker flow is seller-heavy at 0.77x. This suggests leverage is being flushed while top-trader positioning remains relatively supportive.
For longs, I would avoid chasing and wait for a proper reaction from demand.
Preferred buy zones:
0.01900–0.01958 demand
0.01880–0.01848 deeper FVG/liquidity zone
The ideal confirmation would be a liquidity sweep followed by a strong bullish engulfing candle, lower-wick rejection, or a clear lower-timeframe market structure shift.
Upside targets:
TP1: 0.02060
TP2: 0.02084
TP3: 0.02200
Key invalidation:
A confirmed 1H close below 0.01724 would break the bullish structure and flip the bias bearish.
Shorts are only interesting if price rebounds into 0.02060–0.02084 and gets rejected with clear bearish confirmation. In that scenario, 0.01990 and 0.01880 become potential downside targets, but this remains an aggressive counter-trend setup while 0.01724 holds.
Flow:
OI $3.0M (+49.0% 24H) | Funding +0.0159% | Taker 0.77x
Bottom line: the dump looks aggressive, but the trend has not broken yet. Bulls still have the advantage above 0.01724. I’m watching for a confirmed reaction around demand rather than blindly chasing either side.
Not investment advice. Educational report only.
