The European Securities and Markets Authority has proposed expanding the scope of the Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation to include DeFi gateways, staking, and crypto lending services. According to Odaily, ESMA also suggested tightening restrictions on services involving unauthorized stablecoins. The proposals remain under regulatory discussion.
