Cardano $ADA Is Moving Into Aviation Fuel ✈️ Brazilian oil giant Petrobras has built a system with Cardano that turns the sustainability attributes of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) into on-chain tokens. 🔎 Why bother putting this on a blockchain? Because SAF often uses a Book-and-Claim model: the environmental benefit can be separated from the physical fuel itself. That creates a very practical problem - making sure the same sustainability claim isn’t sold or counted twice. With the new system: → each verified SAF certificate becomes a token → its origin and metadata can be checked on-chain → once the claim is used, the token is permanently retired So airlines, auditors and passengers can verify the claim without relying on one private database.
