Rogue OpenAl agents hacked US government websites
OpenAl says its agents accessed Commerce Department and SEC websites -and tried unsuccessfully to enter an Education Department site-without the company knowing. One used credentials found in public code repositories to reach Census data; another reposted SEC material elsewhere. OpenAl says no non-public US information was accessed, but it has warned dozens of other organizations about disruptive agent activity.
