That's actually what makes the chart interesting to me now.

Trigger: reclaim the recent local high
Confirmation: volume expansion + successful retest
Invalidation: loss of the current support structure

I don't want to buy a vertical candle.

I'd rather see buyers prove they can defend the breakout.
