In reality, a day trader doesn’t need to open trades every day.
A day trader closes his trades within the day, not because he has to trade every single day.
If your setup comes only 2 times this week, then take 2 trades. If the market gives you nothing, then taking 0 trades is also completely fine.
There is a big difference between forcing yourself to find a trade and waiting for the market to give you one.
That one difference can save you from a lot of bad trades.
