One of the biggest trading lessons I learned is that the crypto market is driven entirely by human emotions: Fear and Greed. In my early days, I used to buy coins when everyone on social media was celebrating (Extreme Greed), which usually led to heavy losses. Today, I use the Crypto Fear & Greed Index as my ultimate psychological compass to buy the dips safely.
🎈.My Anti-Emotional Investing Rule:
I closely monitor the index score on a daily basis. When the index drops into the "Extreme Fear" zone (below 25), it tells me that retail investors are panicking and selling their high-quality assets at a massive discount. This is my absolute favorite green light to aggressively execute my DCA buy orders.
Selling During the Euphoria Stage
🎈 2.Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy: When the index pumps into "Extreme Greed" (above 75), I stop buying completely.
🎈1. Locking in Profits: This euphoria indicates that a market correction is right around the corner. I use this emotional peak to calmly scale out and convert my paper gains into secure Stablecoins.
