I’m starting to watch the market from a rotation perspective, not just looking for the next coin that can pump.

My personal thesis is that if Bitcoin can remain strong without continuously accelerating higher, the market may gradually become more comfortable moving further out on the risk curve. For me, Ethereum is the first confirmation point, large caps come next, and only after that would I look for a broader altcoin rotation.

$BTC

I’m not calling this a confirmed altseason yet. I want the market to prove the rotation.

BTC Sets the Foundation

Bitcoin normally attracts the first wave of liquidity because it carries the deepest market liquidity and sets the overall direction.

My focus here isn’t simply whether BTC goes up. I’m watching what happens after the next BTC expansion.

If BTC holds its structure and starts consolidating instead of giving back the move, that could create room for capital to search for stronger returns elsewhere.

ETH Is My First Rotation Signal

This is where my attention shifts.

If Ethereum starts showing sustained relative strength against Bitcoin, I’d take that more seriously than a random altcoin pump.

For me, ETH strength would be an early indication that traders may be willing to move further down the risk curve.

One strong candle isn’t enough. I want to see follow-through, volume and structure.

Large Caps Could Follow

If ETH confirms the rotation, I’d start watching major large-cap altcoins more closely.

This is usually where I prefer to see clean breakouts, successful retests and increasing volume rather than chasing extended candles.

A coin already up dramatically can look exciting, but the risk/reward can change completely after the move.

The Real Altcoin Phase Comes Later

The part everyone waits for is the broader altcoin rotation.

My view is that this is where patience becomes even more important. When liquidity reaches smaller coins, moves can become extremely fast — but so can reversals.

I’d rather miss the first part of a move and enter after confirmation than FOMO into a vertical candle.

My Current Thesis

The sequence I’m watching is:

BTC stability → ETH outperformance → large-cap strength → broader altcoin participation.

If that sequence starts appearing across the market, I’ll become more interested in looking for selective altcoin setups.

But until the data confirms the rotation, I’m treating it as a market thesis, not a prediction.

For me, the key question isn’t “Which altcoin will pump next?”

It’s:

“Where is the liquidity moving next?”

That’s the rotation I’m watching.
