🚨 $LSK JUST MADE A 10X MOVE — BUT WHY?
LSK has exploded almost 10x in just one week, gaining more than 950% from its recent low.
But there is a bigger story behind this move.
After almost 10 years, Lisk plans to shut down Lisk Chain on October 31, 2026 and move away from the L2 model.
The project is now focusing on a new finance platform for businesses, built around accounts, payments, approvals and stablecoins.
Lisk is also planning some major changes for $LSK :
• Burn 100M LSK, reducing total supply from 400M to 300M.
• Shut down the Lisk DAO.
• Stop selling LSK from the DAO treasury to cover expenses.
• Give $LSK a new role in the platform, including future rewards and fee payments.
• Make staking more flexible after the Chain closes.
The 100M token burn would remove 25% of the total supply. Ending DAO treasury sales could also reduce future selling pressure.
But be careful. This move is still very speculative.
