I scraped 7,133 red packet posts on Binance Square. Three things the data says:

▎ 80% expire unclaimed.
▎ Of 6,159 finished packets only 1,234 ran out. It's not that people claim too fast — nobody finds your post.

▎ They stay live for 2 days, not 2 hours.
▎ Median lifetime is 48 hours. "I missed it" is almost never true — you never saw it in the first place.

▎ Quiz packets vs luck packets
▎ Quiz: 712 avg views, 264 avg comments
▎ Luck: 316 avg views, 6 avg comments
▎ 2.3x reach, 44x comments. Luck packets get claimed and people leave; quiz packets make them read the post and the comments.
▎ (77% of all packets are quiz, 23% are luck.)

▎ Correction: I earlier said every extra hashtag costs you reach. On 3,802 packets it looked that way. On 7,133 the effect is gone — median views by hashtag count run 165 / 166 / 168 / 170 / 185 / 205 from 0 tags to 5+. Flat. I was wrong.

▎ Data from the live radar I built:— every packet live right now, the answer code up front, sold-out ones marked, the coins actually worth claiming first.
