@Dusk #dusk $DUSK
previously I thought @Dusk was just there to pay gas fees, simple as that. But the deeper I looked into the tokenomics, the more I realized thats not even close to the full picture heres what it actually does.it pays execution on the L1. its the gas token on DuskEVM. and its what you stake to run a provisioner node and participat in consensus that third one is what changed things for me. the Stake contract is one of only two genesis contracts on the whole chain. so staking isnt some feature bolted on top later, its written into the base layer itself, same as the settlement logic and that connects back to everything else going on with dusk. the same token securing consensus is the one settling confidential transactions, n its the one institutions pay fees in when they use the regulated asset side on top
no wrapped versions, no separate asset doing a different job somewhere else. one token, three jobs, all load bearing
so now when i think about @Dusk i dont just see "gas token" anymore, i see the thing consensus, privacy, and compliance all sit on top of
worth reading the tokenomics page yourself rather than taking my word for it ๐Ÿš€
