$DUSK @Dusk
The topic I was talking about today... I used to think that privacy meant completely hiding information after looking at other privacy protocols. But after looking at the technical architecture of @Dusk , my opinion has changed a lot.

In my opinion, Dusk is creating an excellent infrastructure for institutional or regulated finance. They have not used privacy as a blind loophole, but have kept the perfect balance between what needs to be kept private and what should be verifiable on-chain. I would like to share with you some of the things that I personally like about Dusk.

I find this dual-model of transparent (Moonlight) and shielded (Phoenix) transactions very realistic. During normal trading, data remains public, and transactions can be validated anonymously with ZK-proof as needed.

I think the addition of DuskEVM support, along with the convenience of coding in Rust/WASM through DuskVM, is a masterstroke. This will allow Solidity developers to easily bring their apps on-chain.

Citadel Identity System: In my opinion, this is a great feature for on-chain KYC. It allows users to prove their compliance with regulations on-chain without having to share their entire personal information on-chain.

Fast and Secure Settlement: For dark pools or large financial institutions, the level of deterministic finality that Succinct Attestation consensus provides reduces any reorg or settlement risk. This could also be a good decision for Dusk.

After looking at Dusk’s features, my main analysis is that this combination of privacy, regulatory compliance, and programmable smart contracts is ideal for building the future of RWA (Real World Asset) and tokenized securities.

What I’m really looking forward to now is how well Dusk can take their great technical architecture to a real-world institutional scale.
