Privacy Doesn’t Have to Mean Blind Trust
I used to think institutional adoption would always come down to choosing between privacy and auditability, because that’s how most financial systems seem to work, either you expose the data or you make verification harder. What’s interesting about Dusk is that it tries to break that assumption by making the proof visible without making the underlying information visible, a regulator could verify that an investor met certain requirements, stayed within ownership limits, or was allowed to make a transfer, without getting access to the full transaction history behind it 🧐. That feels like a much more useful definition of compliance than simply putting everything on a public ledger and calling it transparent, because transparency and privacy aren't really opposites when you can prove the right thing without revealing everything 🔍
