The more I look at Dusk, the more I think blockchain got one thing slightly wrong.
Finance doesn’t need everything to be public.
A company shouldn’t have to expose every treasury move. An investor shouldn’t reveal their entire portfolio just to prove they’re eligible for an asset.
What makes Dusk interesting is its attempt to find that middle ground.
Privacy where it matters. Compliance when it’s required. And blockchain settlement underneath it all.
That feels less like hiding information and more like giving people control over who actually needs to see it.
Maybe the future of financial blockchains isn’t about maximum transparency.
Maybe it’s about the right transparency.
