HUMA was recently launched through Binance Launchpool, where users who staked BNB, FDUSD, or USDC earned free $HUMA tokens.
** What is Huma Finance?**
Huma is the first PayFi network, enabling global payment institutions to settle payments 24/7 using stablecoins and on-chain liquidity. It brings speed, transparency, and efficiency to legacy financial systems. Backed by Solana, Circle, SDF, Galaxy Digital, and others.
The Huma Protocol is offered in two forms:
🔸 Huma (Permissionless) – This version is open to all, allowing retail investors to participate in Huma pools and join the broader PayFi movement.
🔸 Huma Institutional – A permissioned service tailored for institutional investors, offering access to curated, receivables-backed credit opportunities within a regulated framework.
**Huma Token Utility**
1. Governance
Huma token holders can stake their tokens to participate in protocol governance. The duration of the stake determines the voting power. Stakers are eligible to vote on key decisions.
2. LP & Ecosystem Rewards
• LPs are rewarded with Huma for committing capital, with higher rewards for greater/longer commitments.
• Stakers receive rewards and a boost to their LP positions.
• Ecosystem partners earn HUMA based on key KPIs.
• Community contributors are eligible for HUMA for their efforts.
3. Value Accrual Mechanisms
The Huma Foundation is exploring mechanisms to utilize protocol revenue to strengthen PayFi, align incentives, and reward active participation.
4. Ecosystem Currency
HUMA will enable advanced protocol features such as real-time redemption. Its functionality will expand as the protocol evolves.
