According to Foresight News, Aligned Layer, a decentralized ZK proof verification layer, has successfully raised $2.6 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by Lemniscap and saw participation from other institutions such as Bankless Ventures, Paper Ventures, StarkWare, and O(1)Labs. Angel investors including Sreeram Kannan, Brandon Kase, Daniel Lubarov, DCbuilder, Chainyoda, and Weikeng Chen also contributed to the funding round. The funds raised will be used to expand the team and accelerate the launch of the mainnet, which is planned for the second quarter of 2024.
Aligned Layer is the first Ethereum decentralized verification layer supported by Eigen Layer.
