According to Foresight News, a new AI company, Prem Labs, co-founded by Simone Giacomelli of the decentralized AI platform SingularityNET, has successfully raised $14 million in seed funding. The investors include David Maisel, the founder of Marvel Studios, Fan Zhang, the co-founder of Sequoia Capital China, and Alan Lipschitz, the founder of Incubeta. David Maisel has been appointed as a member of the Prem Labs advisory board.
Prem Labs is dedicated to democratizing the creation of AI models, enabling businesses and individuals to train, deploy, and own their own AI models. According to Linkedin, Simone Giacomelli served as the co-founder of SingularityNET from June 2017 to June 2019.
