Binance Charity, the philanthropic arm of Binance, has announced a partnership with the Children of Heroes Foundation, a Ukrainian non-profit organization with a focus on supporting children affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

The partnership seeks to address the emotional recovery of children who have lost their parents in the war through a joint initiative dubbed the "I Am da Vinci" camp. The 12-day therapeutic camp aims to mitigate feelings of isolation and loneliness by providing a secure and friendly environment where children can engage in activities fostering recovery, community bonding, psychological support, and intellectual growth.

Since Binance Charity initiated its humanitarian efforts in Ukraine during the onset of the war in early 2022, it has demonstrated the impact of Web3 innovations in disaster relief and philanthropy.

The “I Am da Vinci” camp is an innovative approach targeting the psychological well-being of the war-affected children. Essential psychological counseling services will accompany the camp's program, aiding children in understanding losses and coping with traumatic experiences.

The Binance Charity donation of 50,000 USDT (around 2,000,000 UAH) is expected to help facilitate this initiative, contributing to a vital source of funding for the "I Am da Vinci" camp.

The Children of Heroes Foundation was established by Danylo Pasko in March 2022 at the early stage of the conflict. The foundation works tirelessly to assist children who have been affected by the war, reflecting Pasko's own experiences of losing a parent as a child.
