Twitter announced today that they will allow users to buy, sell, and display NFTs through tweets due to the partnership with 4 marketplaces.
The integration called NFT Tweet Tiles allows NFT artwork to be displayed in a dedicated panel within a tweet and includes a button that makes it easy for users to click on a market listing.
While still in testing, the integration currently works with 4 partner marketplaces: Magic Eden (the Solana-hosted marketplace), Rarible (the cross-platform NFT marketplace protocol), Dapper Labs (creator of the Flow blockchain), and Jum.trade (the platform focused on sports).
As of now, the feature is available to select iOS and website Twitter users.
Twitter has confirmed that Tweet Tiles is blockchain-agnostic and will not favor a particular blockchain over another. Through its partnerships with the four marketplaces, Twitter can reach several blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, Flow, Tezos, Polygon, and Immutable X.
