I’m excited to announce an upcoming initiative:

🚀 Stellar Sahel Builders Lab — Niamey

Organized by Web3 Africa Builders, this event is designed to introduce students, developers and aspiring builders in Niger to the Stellar ecosystem and practical blockchain development.

The goal is simple:

Learn → Build → Connect → Continue

Participants will get exposure to:

🔹 Stellar & Soroban development
🔹 Practical blockchain education
🔹 Hands-on building sessions
🔹 Mentorship and networking
🔹 A mini buildathon
🔹 Real-world use cases such as payments, remittances, donations and community finance
🔹 Connections to the wider African & global Web3 ecosystem

Why Niamey?

There is talented young people across the Sahel, but many don't have enough access to blockchain education, mentors, developer communities and global opportunities.

I want to help change that.

Our target is to bring together 50–75 students and developers, including newcomers who have never built on Stellar before.

This is bigger than one event.

It's about creating a pathway from Niger → Sahel → Africa → Global Web3.

I'm currently looking for developers, universities, technology companies, ecosystem supporters, mentors and organizations that want to help make this happen.
