У ніч на 14 жовтня SpaceX запровадила обмеження на роботу військових терміналів Starshield під час руху. За даними джерел у Міністерстві оборони України, Сили оборони не отримали попередження про зміни.

Starshield — захищена супутникова система зв’язку SpaceX, призначена для урядових, військових і розвідувальних потреб.

Як повідомляє «Мілітарний», на різних безпілотних платформах зв’язок зникає на швидкості від 72 до 161 км/год — залежно від типу обладнання та підрозділу.

За повідомленнями українських військових, перебої ускладнили виконання окремих місій безпілотників, зокрема перехоплювачів, а також роботу фронтової логістики та розвідки.

Міністерство оборони України контактує зі США, SpaceX і партнерами по НАТО, збирає інформацію від підрозділів та опрацьовує резервні канали зв’язку.
