The Reality Check:
From last night into this morning, I’ve been watching several Altcoins pumping hard, perfectly following BTC’s lead. But instead of riding the wave or just sitting out if things looked too risky, I saw so many people trying to fight the market. They started heavily shorting coins like $BABY , $LUNC , and even $GENIUS , which is currently on fire with 4x volume on Binance Alpha.
The Fatal Mistake:
The mindset here is honestly a bit naive. People see a price shooting up and think, "It’s already too high, it has to come down now." They keep adding to short positions without a Stop-Loss, and before they know it, their accounts are blown. We’ve seen this before—remember when RAVE went from $0.5 to $28? It sent countless shorters home. If you’re on the wrong side of a move like that, no amount of margin can save you.
My Strategy:
Keep it simple: Trend is your friend. When you see the RSI hovering around 80 or even hitting 90 (like $BABY right now), that is a clear "No-Short" zone. Never try to catch a falling knife, and never try to stop a moving train. Stay with the trend or stay on the sidelines.
