⚛️ Quantum Threat to Satoshi’s Bitcoin

🔐 Satoshi’s early Bitcoin holdings may face higher quantum risk because many original addresses have publicly exposed keys.

🪙 Why It Matters
⚠️ Researcher Justin Drake estimates around 1 million BTC linked to Satoshi-era mining could eventually become targets for powerful quantum computers.
🔑 Fresh Bitcoin addresses generally keep public keys hidden until funds are spent.

🛡️ Stay Cautious
🚨 Drake warned against rushing into untested “quantum-safe” wallets, as bugs and scams could create new risks.
🧪 Bitcoin developers are already testing quantum-resistant solutions, including proposals to protect vulnerable legacy addresses.

📌 Bottom Line
⚛️ Quantum attacks are a future security concern, not an immediate Bitcoin crisis. Developers are working on solutions as the technology evolves.
