CPI数据来袭能否触发9月加息

$BTC 9 The rate hike is getting closer—really closer now! The PPI already splashed a bucket of cold water on the market. The probability of a rate hike has already surged to about 70%! All that’s left is one final confirmation from the CPI. This batch of data could directly determine the direction for September! In the US, August PPI year-over-year rose to 5.4%, higher than the market expectation of 5.3%, with the prior figure only at 4.7%. After the data was released, market bets on the Fed raising rates by 25 basis points on September 15–16 quickly heated up, and tomorrow’s CPI will become the most critical inflation test before the meeting. My read is this: if the CPI continues to come in above expectations, the odds of a 25-basis-point hike in September will clearly take the lead. In the short term, I’m a bit cautious on BTC and tech stocks; if the CPI unexpectedly cools, the rate-hike trade will likely unwind fast, and risk assets may be more likely to see a strong rebound. What you truly need to trade now isn’t the PPI anymore—it’s whether the CPI will fully lock in this hawkish outlook. #CPI数据来袭能否触发9月加息 The PPI has already pushed the door open; the CPI will decide whether the Fed will actually step inside. To sum up: “Higher probability of a rate hike—defend first in the short term,” but if the CPI comes in cool, a BTC counterattack could happen very, very quickly!
