Testnet tokens are generally available for free from a “faucet” and are only used to pay Gas fees for test transactions.
The same wallet’s private key works on both testnets and mainnet. If a phishing website tricks you into switching to mainnet to sign a transaction, you could lose real assets.
ETH on a testnet is only a test token; it is not the same as $ETH on mainnet. Current price: 2505.91.
Size your position according to your means, and leave yourself enough room.

Here’s what makes this deal significant:
💰 $30 million strategic investment: Sui Foundation becomes DATA Network’s largest institutional holder.
🤖 AI meets blockchain: DATA’s Trace registry tracks data provenance and usage rights, helping AI companies source datasets they are authorized to use.
⚡ Major infrastructure shift: DATA Network will migrate to the Sui ecosystem, while its independent blockchain is set to be retired.
🔒 Walrus integration: The decentralized storage platform will become the default storage layer for DATA Foundation applications.
The network has registered more than 250 million data contributions and processes over 3 million receipts per day, according to the project.
The existing $DATA token is expected to migrate at a 1:1 ratio, with a transition timeline to be announced before the upgrade.
