At this level, I’m leaning bullish on BTC, but let me explain my plan.
First, the current price is 80,570, up 0.34% over the past 24 hours, with a trading volume of 755.2M. Market breadth shows 90.9% of coins are up, giving the market a bit of a bull-run feel. But keep in mind, this rally hasn’t broken through the key level I have in mind.
I’m planning to test a small long position in the 78,000–80,000 range, since that’s where the previous pullback bottomed out. The long-to-short position ratio is currently 2.26, so bulls have a slight edge. However, if the price drops below 77,000, I’ll have to accept the loss—that’s my stop-loss level. For targets, I’ll look at 82,000 first, then 84,000 if it breaks through.
Don’t underestimate this modest rise. Such strong market breadth shows that people are feeling a bit optimistic. Still, don’t get too carried away: the Fear and Greed Index is at 50, or neutral, which suggests market sentiment isn’t particularly heated either.
This morning’s ChainCatcher data also got me pretty excited: Binance saw a net inflow of $1.215 billion in reserve assets, and its wallet balance grew by 5.8%. It seems some institutions still have confidence in BTC.
So, my plan is: if BTC can hold above 78,000, I’ll test a small long position; if it breaks below 77,000, I’ll stop out. What do you think? How would you trade it?
