Strategy has made another move, buying just 267 coins this time.

SEC 8-K filings submitted on October 19 and the company's official announcement show that, from October 12 to 18, Strategy sold MSTR common stock through its ATM program, raising approximately $22 million net, and used the proceeds to buy 267 $BTC . Its total holdings now stand at 848,500 coins.

That figure is not particularly impressive by its own historical standards. Previous rounds of accumulation often involved thousands of coins, while this time 267 looks more like a routine top-up than an accelerated buying spree. The $22 million financing amount is also relatively small, suggesting the company did not make a major push to raise money from the market during this period. The slower pace is worth noting in itself.

What is notable is that the financing method hasn't changed: sell stock, buy bitcoin. As long as MSTR trades at a premium to the net value of its bitcoin holdings, this channel can keep operating. If the premium narrows, the pace of accumulation will naturally slow as well. The 267-coin amount may reflect a balance between the premium and financing costs.

With 848,500 coins on its books, Strategy remains one of the largest corporate holders in the public markets. Each disclosure offers the market a point of reference: how much longer can the model of using equity financing to buy $BTC continue? The answer will be in the next 8-K.
