World launched a World ID verification suite for banks and financial firms on Sunday, the identity project's first industry-specific offering. World said the suite combines three existing products to help institutions guard against deepfake fraud and AI-driven impersonation. World also said World ID for Zoom is now generally available. World named OpenExchange, Bain Capital, VanEck Funds and Outtake as design partners exploring financial-services uses, but did not identify a bank using the product or disclose pricing.
