According to CNBC, President Donald Trump touted his power at a Kentucky rally Saturday, where he campaigned for Republican candidates Ed Gallrein and Andy Barr ahead of the midterm elections. Trump said he could take actions in his second term that he could not in his first, citing his decision to rename the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America. He also said that if Republicans win control of the House and Senate, every American adult would receive $5,000, a proposal that would likely cost more than $1 trillion and require congressional approval. Trump added that a Republican victory would lead the Department of Defense to invest in revitalizing a drug manufacturing facility in Kentucky.
