Binance in Brazil: 22 tokens delisted on October 27—what changes and what doesn’t

Binance announced changes that apply only to customers in Brazil. Users in other countries are not affected by this decision.

October 27
→ 22 tokens will no longer be tradable: XVG, USDE, USTC, DCR, DUSK, PIVX, MANTRA, ONE, RVN, ZIL, SCRT, BB, GMT, TFUEL, ONT, ACX, HIT, PYR, VANRY, VIC, ICX and STORJ
→ 8 products restricted: Binance Loans, Binance Pool, Cloud Mining, margin, Launchpool, Megadrop, HODLer Airdrops and Alpha 2.0. No new positions can be opened, and existing loans will switch to repayment-only status.

October 29
→ Brazilian customers begin migrating to local entities within the Binance Group

November 1
→ For an international withdrawal, users must provide the purpose of the transfer and the counterparty. Incoming deposits may be delayed until this information is provided.

What doesn’t change: existing balances remain accessible, and tokens can still be withdrawn. The announcement does not require users to sell before October 27.

My analysis: platforms are tailoring their offerings country by country, and secondary tokens are the first to be affected. This is a hypothesis, not an announcement from Binance.

This is not investment advice.

Do you think platforms will introduce more country-specific restrictions on secondary tokens? #Binance
