$BTC Yesterday, bearish momentum continued to weaken. After the midnight turnover, I said the 4-hour TD had entered a reversal phase, and that the 80,000 level below would be strong support and unlikely to break. Don’t chase shorts at the lows. During the overnight rebound, I shorted at 813 for 600 points, then went long at 805. At noon, I closed the position at 821 for a 1,640-point gain. The price action matched expectations—that’s also how I’ve been saying to read the TD.
Looking at the chart, the lower-timeframe TD indicators have all printed a 9 or 13 at the bottom, so the short-term low is in. The low at 801 below has also held, and structurally the market is still moving within a large range. The daily candle closed above the lower Bollinger Band; the Bollinger Bands are contracting rather than expanding, indicating that bearish momentum is not sustained and a reversal is possible. So look for an upward move when going long at lower levels.
Look to go long around 820–817, targeting around 837–842. $BTC
