According to Jin10, Tasnim News Agency reported on October 8 that two attacks on security personnel occurred in Iran's southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan province, killing two people and injuring three. One incident took place in Nik Shahr, where a car carrying personnel from the Iranian Army Ground Forces was attacked by armed men while changing shifts, leaving one person dead and three injured. The other attack occurred in Zahedan County, where police commandos from the Nosratabad district were attacked while on patrol, and one officer was killed in the exchange of fire. Local police have identified the suspects and launched a manhunt.
