MetaMask infrastructure got hit last week during KBW Seoul. Here's what actually matters:

Your funds are safe. Your seed phrase, keys, and wallet assets were NEVER at risk. Self-custody means we literally can't access them—that's the whole point.

What happened: validator infrastructure got touched. We rotated validator keys with partners as a precaution. Yes, validators had to exit and re-enter the queue (annoying but necessary).

Why your $ETH stayed safe: Ethereum's staking design separates validator keys from withdrawal keys. We don't hold withdrawal keys. Period. So even if validator infra is compromised, nobody can move your staked $ETH.

This is exactly why self-custody + decentralization matters. Traditional systems = single point of failure. Crypto done right = you control your money, not us, not attackers.

We face constant attacks like everyone in this space. Standard protocol: investigate first, notify partners, rotate keys, then disclose. No drama, just proper security hygiene.

Bottom line: Your MetaMask wallet was never compromised. Your keys, your crypto. Always has been, always will be.
