WPP announced on Wednesday that it has opened an AI advertising production center in London, its first such facility in a global expansion plan. According to Sina Finance, the center is intended to meet market demand for high-quality ads that can be quickly deployed on social media and other platforms.
As part of its turnaround plan, WPP Chief Executive Cindy Rose consolidated the company's production capabilities earlier this year to form WPP Production, one of the company's four main business units. Rose said the Devon's Point hub in East London, which spans 34,000 square feet, will help meet that demand. The facility includes rapid filming and editing equipment, advanced AI production technology, and space for creators to collaborate. It also integrates AI-driven production tools, modular studio environments, and post-production capabilities.
