Mars Finance news: According to on-chain detective Specter monitoring, the attacker of this activity provided so-called arbitrage bot tutorials and code through YouTube videos, and lured victims into compiling and deploying contracts using a spoofed Remix development interface. The attacker registered an ENS name containing “Uniswap” and disguised the associated addresses as legitimate DeFi activity deposit sources, causing victims to believe that the deployed arbitrage bot was profiting through Uniswap. After victims injected their own funds into the contracts, the money was transferred away by the attacker. The attacker reportedly appears to still be active, holding a significant portion of the stolen funds in two addresses.
