The 78k deal from last week—waking up twice in the middle of the night was real.

This week the price has been swinging back and forth, and I realized the same problem has returned—I always want to take another look, as if looking one more time will help me figure something out. Ten years of coding, and every time we roll out a release, it’s like this the night of.

Later I understood: the logic is fine, and staring won’t help. The logic behind dollar-cost averaging is this—I'm still building up my principal. If it drops, I keep buying. If it rises, I won’t regret it.

So today, I did nothing. Keep saving. Keep sleeping.
