The story of Tesla’s auto-pilot is still going, but the position has retreated first. TSLAUSDT is down about 1% over the past 24 hours. This time, what’s more worth watching isn’t the red-green candles, but whether the funds have stayed behind.

According to the Binance order book, TSLAUSDT saw about 88 million USDT in trading volume over the past 24 hours. The price moved between 342.88 and 352.18. At the time of the screenshot it was around 346.56, about 1.5% below the high. It looks like someone’s picking it up, but the open interest data hasn’t caught up.

In the past roughly 3 hours, open interest fell from 123,293 to 122,130—about a 0.9% decline by coin count. The open-interest value also dropped by about 1%. Looking at these two figures together, it looks more like positions are shrinking rather than fresh money pushing the rebound to stick.

Next, take a look at the buy/sell ratio: over roughly the past 1 hour, the lowest was only 0.20, but it surged as high as 3.24. Buy-side demand can suddenly appear, which doesn’t necessarily mean new positions are being built continuously. It could just be older positions turning over quickly.

This is a perpetual futures contract, not outright stock holdings. Open $TSLA to view the real-time trading volume and open interest—do you believe more in “rebound running ahead,” or “positions continuing to shrink”?
