French utility Engie SA said growth in renewables and battery storage will temporarily slow this year because U.S. permitting is taking longer under the Trump administration, even as power demand rises, according to Bloomberg.

Chief Executive Officer Catherine MacGregor said the delay in permits is affecting additions to Engie's renewable and storage portfolio.
