A crypto whale has opened a substantial short position, involving 5,000 ETH (approximately $15.66 million), over the past two hours. 🐳 This indicates a bearish sentiment towards Ethereum in the short term.

The whale initially borrowed 5,000 ETH from Aave. Subsequently, 4,000 ETH (valued at about $12.49 million) was moved to Binance, and an additional 1,044 ETH (roughly $3.26 million) to other platforms.

Around 40 minutes later, after the ETH reached the centralized exchanges, 12.45 million USDT was withdrawn from Binance. This withdrawal amount closely aligns with the 4,000 ETH deposited, strongly suggesting a sale of those assets to execute the short.
