The airdrop from fellow villagers has arrived, and it feels like we are in a volatile stage, occasionally giving you a glimmer of hope, making those who quit regret and come back to grind, controlling people's emotions with the value of the airdrop.
In this situation, you either stick to the end or take a break for a while, repeatedly jumping back and forth; it’s easy to die faster if you keep grinding and then stop.
Whether to stay or go depends on whether you believe in the future alpha. I choose to leave; I believe the quality of the alpha market depends on the bull and bear cycles and the number of participants. The current situation lacks advantages in both aspects, the fundamentals of the market have not improved, and the number of participants is still hovering at a high level. I have not seen any improvement in the fundamentals.
Of course, it’s not to say that staying can't make money, but I believe it’s not worth it compared to the risks of being squeezed and worn down. After all, think about the last time when I was squeezed by timi; let alone making money, just breaking even would be a struggle.
Now the returns are getting lower and lower. I entered the market at the end of September, and the current difficulty is simply not at the same level as back then. Initially, I didn’t even consider the issue of wear and tear. Now it’s like trying to earn money selling a hundred portions but only making the money equivalent to selling cabbages, and I could even lose my principal.
Rather than continue to chase that uncertain meager profit, it would be better to step outside, let myself rest and return to normal, study for a while, and come back when the opportunity arises, instead of stubbornly grinding here; perhaps I can see a better view.
